Copyediting Fiction Digital Curriculum


This course is designed for new editors wanting to enter the field of copyediting specifically for fiction manuscripts. Students will learn the basics of copyediting and the editorial process, review rules for mechanical editing, learn how to edit electronic manuscripts using Microsoft Word as well as how to edit hard copies. Students will become familiar with rule exceptions peculiar to fiction writing and get practical hands-on experience copyediting a portion of a fiction manuscript.
