Editing Bible Studies and Theology Digital Curriculum

Correctly handling God’s Word is a serious and challenging task that must be undertaken with care and prayer. This course focuses on special issues encountered when editing nonfiction texts focused around interpreting the Bible, including Bible studies, commentaries, sermon guides, and topical studies. We’ll discuss principles for handling theological disagreements, quoting Scripture and other sources, checking theological terminology, and transliterating biblical languages. Whether you expect to edit only for general audiences or hope to dive into academic texts, this course will help you guide your clients to handle God’s Word responsibly.

As with editing any other genre, we can never achieve perfection. So go ahead and leave that burden behind. But this course will help equip you with the necessary resources and knowledge to do your job.
