Preparing for Christian Editor Connection Tests Group Course

Are you interested in becoming an editor with the Christian Editor Connection? Are you already a member of CEC but would like to increase the number of leads you get? Have you taken a CEC test and didn’t pass? This course will help you prepare for all CEC tests. It’s not just a matter of just looking up a few rules in CMOS or CWMS. It also involves studying and gaining confidence in your skills. By taking this course, you’ll be prepared to take any CEC test. It will also increase your chances of passing any test the first time.
If you complete the required number of lesson assignments, you will receive a certificate of completion, and you’ll be able to choose one test to take without paying the $20 fee usually charged for each test.
For those who are already members of CEC, let the CEC director know which test you’d like to take. For those who are not yet members, complete the application form to join. Once you qualify, your first test will be free.

Format: This is the Group Course format, which includes an email group discussion and instructor feedback. This course will be conducted via Groups.io.
Prerequisite: Eligibility to join Christian Editor Connection, including two years professional editing experience
Level: Intermediate
Base price: $180 (members of The Christian PEN receive discounts)
Course length: This course is four lessons. It begins on August 24 and runs to September 14, 2026.
