If you don’t know where to start with your website, Beginner Website Development is the perfect course for you. This course is a broad website design overview intended for freelancers desiring to create or upgrade a professional website. While we will lightly discuss some HTML/CSS coding, this is not a coding course; students do not need prior coding or website design experience.
Ten modules cover topics such as:
  • Introductory goal setting
  • Website planning
  • Choosing and obtaining a domain name
  • An overview of website types and platforms
  • Introductory website formatting
  • Considerations for each page on your website
Practical lessons, visual examples, and hands-on homework will guide the student through the website creation process; at course completion, students will be able to create a basic professional website.

Format: This is the Group Course format, which includes online email discussions and instructor feedback. This course will be conducted via Groups.io.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course.
